They just found Riku in Traverse town, he randomly disappears and sora says, "Where did he go?! I still had so much to ask him! Riku!" Donald reaches to him, saying, "Sora..." But Sora (who was already pretty far away from Donald?) perks up. "Oh well. At least he's okay!" and Donald falls over. Then Sora turns back to them and says, "Who knows? Maybe we'll run into Kairi soon, too. Huh? What's wrong, Donald?" and Donald (still on the floor) mutters, "Your moods sure change quickly..."
Later, on th Gummi ship, Sora is quiet. Donald turns asking, "Sora?" to which Sora replies, "I was thinking... Maybe Riku's mad at me... (But why would that be?"and Donald (looking mad/shocked) thinks, He actually WAS worried! then watch this, in Traverse Town, right after:
Sora goes from entirely confident in his quest to find Kairi in Neverland, to very downtrodden and doubtful in Traverse Town.
