Hey guys, if you have photosensitive epilepsy or just don't like flashing lights and you're playing kingdom hearts dream drop distance, DON'T PUT A LEADER DISPOSITIONED YOGGY RAM IN YOUR PARTY. my guy changed dispositions and when i went into battle he started using these abrupt, bright flashing attacks. ok but axel and xion both pursued more information. They both snuck around and read things they weren't supposed to find, and went places they weren't supposed to be, bc they felt that there was more to know. But roxas didn't. Roxas assumed everything was fine, and took everything at surface value, which yeah, is a result of circumstances, but also i think it's an important thing.
like, like throughout days, he seeks knowledge, but it's pretty shallow, like "what does terminated mean?" and "what are hearts?" and "what's the difference between friends and best friends?" and yeah he does ask about why he and xion are "special" and why they don't have memories from before they were nobodies and why they're collecting hearts but when he doesn't receive adequate answers, or if he doesn't understand something, he doesn't attempt to figure it out.
when axel tries to explain "best friends" to him his response is basically to go "i don't get it but whatevs" and go on with life.
He doesn't know where he came from, and he's pretty much fine with that -- well, actually, he may not be "fine with that" but he doesn't see any way to learn more about it so he just doesn't try. And yeah, maybe there is less of a way for him to find out where he came from than for xion, given her nature as an experiment which would obviously have records, but he doesn't try.
Xion breaks into the computer, and sneaks off to Castle Oblivion. Axel snoops around and reads some books. Roxas goes on missions, eats ice cream, and goes to bed, presumably.

In twilight town, he expresses interest in understanding what's happening, but really doesn't make any effort to investigate until he's told what to do (by DiZ or by Namine or by his friends). Like... He rebels against DiZ and Axel but not until he's confronted by them and they're telling him to do things that conflict with his own motivations.
"merge with sora" um sorry that's freaky and also i don't wanna die??

maybe it is just naivete, but still: the fact that it doesn't even occur to him that things might not be as simple as they seem; that summoning kingdom hearts might not be the best plan of action, that xion isn't a normal nobody (and saix and xigbar arent just arbitrarily treating her differently.. not like it's okay, but they didn't just randomly choose to call xion "it" and act like it's weird when she has free will and not any of the others), that people might lie to him. He just accepts whatever people tell him, until he's solidified his own understanding of the world and people say things that disrupt that understanding. Which probably is a result of his basically-newborn state at the beginning of the game/his existence? but like the big thing is that Saix and Xigbar obviously treat xion differently and he just assumes they're jerks. It makes sense? but like Axel (who yes given has extra contact with Saix and knows him better and for longer, and is privy to more inside information due to his position) sees that and figures out why. xion (who yes given, is driven by a desire to understand herself which is surely more powerful than any desire roxas might have to understand his friend) is constantly running away, or sneaking into places, or getting outside information (riku). despite his immense worry for xion (namely when she's comatose and when she loses her ability to summon her keyblade), roxas doesn't actively do  a n y t h i n g  about it. - 5:30 pm

Sure is Fun maxing out Riku's level when I've maxed his HP since level 68 and attack from before that im on ldvel 80 im so tired

I hate talking to my grandparents bc idk what to tslk about. Like, with friends and peers i can fall back on storirs about my cousins or make media references, but like, sometimes they'll show me a n animal video and ii don't know how to respond!!! 😬 the other day my grandpa showed me a video of a person with a pet tortoise and all that happened was she rubbed his head a bunch! For like 2 minutes!! And he was standing next to me holding out the iPad while i watched!
and sometimes ppl will start talking about things and say something like "apparently they're saying you shouldn't give them [dogs] garlic?" ( random exaggerated example) like yeah!! I knew that ten years ago!!!
or even like, friend ko will be like "and apparently that game comes before khi" and im like yess 😭 I've said that thirteen times 😫

Also they ask questions (e.g. Abt kh or wof) that i know the answer to but then i feel like i have to explain everythinv like "yeah this is what happened after clearsight came over but like, still two thousand years later.. But its worse with kh but sometimes the questions are mechanical like "and that one /is/ playable on the ps4?" And the n i feel like im disappointing them by saying "no, that one's just cutscenes. Re: KHII tutorial: When did theu go through the preliminaroes. On day 1, they ok first off, they're going to go to the beach, but on the way to figure out munny, they stop.at the struggle poster. THe n haynet saysv"you and i have to make it to the finals" so it hasnt happened yet. But the next day, as soon as roxas wakes up, he sees the note from hayner about gping to the beach. He goes outside and runs intp pence and olette who are evidently ON THEIR WAY TO GO SHOPPING. Roxas follows namine, gets chased by some dusks, ends up knocked out, visits the Stations in dive to tje heart. Wakes up to seifer and gang taking pics. They say that they got those "outsiders" to leave, implying that roxas had not been out very long. Then, hpo show up, hayner huffs and leaves upon seeing roxas with seifer and co EVEN TJOUGH they literally live in the same town which evidently has five areas to walk arounf in, and roxas is standing separately from the gang, they are in a face-off position, not a hanging out position anyway rox follows hpo back to the usual spot somehow leaving them enough leetime to pick up ice cream, and is like "how was the beach? Wasnt thar todau?" And they're all " we didnt go. Wouldn't be the same without you " like okayy y'all went SHOPPING i dont see how /i'm/ to blame but ok then next fay is the struggle and roxas wakes up, next we see hes outside the usual spot and some guy is like "hurry up your almost late" so i think roxas' house is above the ususl spot, so he goes to the sandlot and the announcer is like "these four kids battled theor way through the preliminaries" WHEN? ok so i finally remembered to bring my valentines for ASL class and no one was mean about it they were just like "wow these are late" and i was like "i know! i made them week of valentine's day but i kept forgetting them" and that was that and 3 of the kids ate their lollis in class. Friend Ko showed me his lolli stick and said "now it's heartless" bc the lolli was heart-shaped and it was funny. - 5/8 5:35 PM

we played Jeopardy in ASL and i won with 200 points. Classmate Is came in second with 90 points. Everyone else had 0 ;P. We didn't get very far tho, they weren't just TERRIBLE. but i did great. so. someone said something about how i kept getting them all and i said "it's called winning" and that made them laugh - 5:37 pm

i'm a ggood student, i show up to class almost every day, i participate, i consume the material, but i can't seem to do the Projects. I didn't do much in Lit, I did a few Deliverables for Big History, but most of them were from last semester, and I did one No Voice Lab (tho to be fair, my group sucked and one of the members dropped the class for the second sem and Classmate Is never contacted me and also the teacher didn't remind us) for ASL and didn't do the book report (which we were told about oN THE FIRST DAY) or the Timber Story. I didnt practice the Timber Story but i did watch it last night and in class the teacher asked if I remembered the story and i said "yeah i remember the story" and she asked if I could try to say what I remember and i was like yeah prolly but then i thought about it for like a half second and i remembered that

1. it was almost 7 minutes long on the video
2. i have to repeat "he walked along and walked along and saw a tree! He set down his lunch, and set down his ax, and looked at the tree. *describe tree*. He picked up his ax and started chopping the tree. It began to break. He kept chopping. It began to fall. He backed up and yelled "TIM-BER" and the tree thunked down. He picked up his ax, and picked up his lunch, and kept walking." two times.
3. then I have to describe him eating his lunch
4. then i have do #2 again but this time the tree doesn't fall so he yells again and it doesn't fall, so he calls a DOCTOR and the doctor comes and listens to the tree with a stethoscope and says the tree is deaf (which he got from the stethoscoping?) and the man says to back up and they do and the man signs "T-I-M-B-E-R" and the tree falls down and shakes the ground and the two people jump in the air bc that's how physics works.
5. it's not explained why the man is cutting down trees and leaving htem there?

and my body was like "NOPE" and i couldn't stand up or say anything. 

but i get As on the assignments i do turn in.

oh also you wanna know what my teacher said?

"100% (when there)" my friend I missed 2 days? also apparently being late ... counts as an absence? I'm not certain about her grading method (bc these words are confusing) but i think it says I was there 26 days out of the 28 classes and I was more than 10 minutes late twice, and it sounds like she's saying that the two day's i was 10 min late count as two absences? counting them as like . . half-absneces i get? but? I WAS THERE THAT DAY?? idk that's just kinda all i have going for me.

also in her e-mail she was like "i encourage you to continue! you're one of the top students in both my classes" and im like . . . 1. I know that, 2. ... doesn't reaaly matter how well I did in comparison to the other students? for one thing i'm p sure i'm the oldest and for another thing i SUPER don't like to get in trouble so i've adapted to be quiet and I can figure out what she wants in regards to answers to questions and such so i'm just. . naturally gonna seem to be more engaged and talented than the other kids cuz they get distracted and i just copy the signs. I'm also good at listening to alll the things the teacher says so i know what she wants us to do, like "answer the question" vs. "repeat the question" cuz SOMETIMES WE DO BOTH and if you don't PAY ATTENTION then 5 people ask the say thing "wait are we answering the questions or signing them" and i kinda wish people wouldn't grade meso leniently cuz like my lit teacher kept forgiving my missed essays but alsoi am so glad they dont cuz i would die. 

i wish i could wriet essays. 

honestly i think Classmate Is and Classmate Ka worked the hardest in the class, even though the latter had more trouble with the signs and the grammar and fingerspelling, and the former had trouble with the grammar. 

on the other hand, the other kids didnt seem to realize that they could look up the signs in the end of each unit. . each lesson even has a thing under it that says "new vocabulary on pg X" lol. so instead of doing that they come to class and like "I thought #4 was XXX" and if you arent having trouble with the actual signs, the only answer you're gonna get is "no, it's YYY." and i dont' know why they didn't catch on, they were still doing it up to the last day. nerds. 

anyway, in conclusion, i am far superior to the younglings but i C a n't write essays for the life of me nor can i plan for big projects bc i keep saying "yeah i'll work on that tonight" and then it's been 5 days and i have to go to class again and i didn't do the thing so i'm screwed. literally, remember when i was up until like 4 in the morning on sunday finishing my Awareness Project? i worked on it a bit before but it wasn't until sunday evening that i managed to actually stand up and leave my bed and do work. standing up is the worst thing it's like oh legs gotta work now weight lifting time and there's nothing y ou can do. but like im lazy cuz i am comfy in my bed and i don't even go to the couch very much anymore, i keep not playing video games cuz i could just . . . stay here?

oh in the khi novel, sora said "what the heck is kingdom hearts" like 8 pages from the end and it made me laugh so hard and we were in the theater waiting for Cuz 3's play to start - 4:03

the play was disney's peter pan jr andd it was weird and stupid ok so first of they had the disney fairies telling the story kinda but they only showed up like 4 times and one time they were super part of the story anyway they had iridessa, silvermist, fawn, tinkerbell of course, rosetta, and vidia, and Lyria. mmmmm.

The fairies also played the mermaids, and the mermaids' names were adela, arista, aquata, andrina, atina, and allan (i'm p sure that's what it said but they prolly meant alana)???

but anyway that's not the stupid part. after peter and wendy rescued tiger lily, peter was taking all the credit for saving her and partway into the song tiger lily like asked wendy what was wrong and wendy literally said "why do boys always take all the credit?!" and they sang the last half of the song as "what makes the brave girl brave" and it was so bad. Instead of indians they were "warrior braves" which??? still isn't better????? nice try tho. it was okay when they called them warriors and brave warriors but braves is a native american thing??? anyway. i think they were all girls and that was a thing too but it wasn't super clear. 

also the dad was really obnoxious at the end he was liek "oh when i was young i think i saw a flying ship... and there was an island too... i know what you're talking about wendy!!!" which is i think kinda dumb.

they did a great job with tinker bell tho, they had a full size actor, but then when hook captured her, they stole her jingle bell bracelet, and stuck that in a lantern along with a green LED and tink followed it around to perform and talk to us it was super cute

tink saved peter from the bomb pie and she like got hurt when it exploded and peter had us clap to save her which is STUPID because that only works when their light is going out bc someone said they didn't BELIEVE in FAIRIES.

oh yeah on the scenery they had a drawing to look like the rest of neverland right ok but on there was also some teepees drawn on so yeah good luck with that. sorry im mad but would it have been that hard? to say "princess" instead of "chief's daughter" and like "queen" or something instead of chief? and not call them braves? like... they reframed it so they were playing a game and that's why they used broken english but like.. then the characters are being racist rather than being written racistly? could you have given the queen a crown instead of a headdress? just giving them gold tutus and sashes and having them explain that "when we want to sound cool we say ___" or "it's hard to talk like that" and not changing the actual problems isn't good enough. tbf it's b e t t er than the film but s t i l l.

OH YEAH ALSO THe fairies sang parts of their narration to the tune of "fly to your heart" and i remembered that i love that song lol
