WE ARE NOW DEBATING ABOUT SOMETHING BECAUSE PENGUIN IS FINALLY READING WINGS OF FIRE AND I CAN'T CONTAIN MY YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYNESS. She's only up to the part where Clay is about to go fight Fjord.
But we will debate. Something........

We're debating about something. We don't know what...

Pen: So. ... ... Gremlins....?
Me: Sigh.
Pen: Gremlins are the best.
Me: I don't disagree.
Pen: Hmm. So.
Me: I like Blue Gremlin.
Pen: Everybody likes Blue Gremlin.
Me: I also like Gremlin Sparks. He needs us to fix his forge.
Pen: Well, yeah. He does.
Me: But he won't even tell us where it is. And what we need to do. And when he talks to you, he just says 'he's just collecting parts, he is.'
 [light whack after a long silence]
Pen: (on the defensive) I don't know what to say!
Me: Say something intelligent... wait a minute..
Pen: you're gonna put down that you smacked me.
  [I look at her expectantly]
Pen: E=mc2 ... ... ... or does it.
Me: ... Great...? Do you have any writing advice for our lovely fans out there who read this blog, AKA just Mom and occasionally Grandma?
Pen: Keep it dynamic..? That's all I have to say.
Me: Dynamic how..??
Pen: Like, don't just have them stand there and do nothing, don't just have them stand there and talk. Move them around, move the camera around.
Me: Penguin, you do realize I'm talking about writing, like, a book, right? For someone to read? Not a cartoon? Or movie?
Pen: Yeah. I meant like, move the camera around as in figurativelyy...
Me: ... Whatever. Wings of Fire. Now.
Pen: ...

And then Mom came in and that discussion deteriorated. ;-P

Aaaand we got to play with Jamface! And Blue Gremlin!!! Blue is the BEST!! He is so saaaaaad... and HILARIOUS!!!
