ok this is starting to be a problem. i played ffxv for 5 hours but i still wanna go back and keep playing. but i have school early the day after tomorrow aaa - 12/2 5:09 am
I think i know the problem so the problem is that I'll say "i wanna continue the main story!" But first on my way there i have to do ten sidequests and then im far away again so i may as well go back to lestallum to turn in a bunch of quests but then i get a bunch of new quests and i make a whole route and its a big mess and then its been seven hours and im tired - 12/3 6:12 am

ffxv was fun but idk. I have reasonable complaints but also just. made me feel all wonky idk. not a fan of the ending maybe i just want a happy ending. i want just the chill roadtrip part without the death and arguments and suffering. - 12/5 1:39 am

you know, I knew that noctis died at the end of ffxv, i knew that, and i was prepared for an Emotional Journey in general but i was let down. i mean, at least kh has a surface story that you can follow without understanding the lore, doesn't it? i feel like ffxv left out a lot of information that they expected me to know. - 12/8 2:38 am
oh my gosh. learning more about ffxv and im. this is so funny. why would they think that having tetsuya nomura as the director of kh and ffxv would ever work. "no they're. they're not suffering from sharing resources. it's fine" and then switch directors ten minutes later omg. it's exactly like kh3. im screaming how did they make it so lackluster gghghdhg

Also, some clarity on some of my story issues with the game! it's all dlc.
Issue: they didn't explain that Insomnia is the capital city or much about the war before it falls
my assumption: I didn't pay close enough attention
reality -> in fact, there's a feature-length movie about that backstory if you want to understand it
Issue: the other characters' individual "arcs" were for the most part just passing lines of dialogue that are quickly forgotten about (except for ignis)
my assumption: did they just.. drop that plotline?

this shot. my knowledge of Verum Rex equates to less than one (1) commercial's worth and I still love these characters. this shot is so powerful. the framing is legendary. her outfit is absolutely bonkers. that silky strapless gown, with Those Boots? bold. also the shade of pink in this commercial is so Good.
additionally, we're introduced to our first glasses-wearing original kh character,
and this guy who is just a Look.

I also wish Yozora looked like something other than riku with one red eye! wow i wish nomura could chill with the copies! especially given these incredible character designs^^ Please!

we have Plans. every day. this week. today when we got home from my grandparents' house for game night, we were gonna do Candles, but Dad almost Forgot lol. but then we all stayed up for like 2 more hours finishing up presents bc Tomorrow we go to our other grandparents' house for Hanukkah, then the next day is Chrimas eve (with my mom's side) and then Christmas day at our house and then with my dad's parents and then probably that evening we go back to dad's parents' house for my grandpa's b-day (plus hanukkah probably bc they overlap this year). then the next day we're gonna probably go to Dad's friends' house for candles. and then finally we can rest - 12/22 10:34 pm
